Occupational Therapy Services for Schools

School-Based OT Support

At Steps & Strides Occupational Therapy, we offer flexible in-school services tailored to support schools, specialist provisions, and local authorities.


Our therapists can be booked for either a Full Day (6 hours) or Half Day (3 hours), on a one-off or ongoing basis, depending on your setting’s needs. We provide embedded support that fits seamlessly within your school timetable and enhances outcomes for pupils with a range of additional needs.


What’s included:

Our in-school visits can include a combination of the following:

  • Embedded Therapy
    Regular, hands-on support delivered directly to pupils within class, one-to-one, or in small groups.
  • Occupational Therapy Assessments
    Comprehensive standardised and clinical assessments to identify pupils’ needs, including assessments to inform EHCP applications or annual reviews.
  • OT Programmes and Strategies
    Individualised programmes and classroom-based strategies to support learning, participation, and independence across the school day.
  • Support with EHCPs and Annual Reviews
    Contribution to EHCP paperwork, annual review reports, goal setting, and recommendations.
  • Staff Training and Workshops
    We offer advice, modelling, and informal training for teaching and support staff to build confidence in embedding strategies.
