Our therapy is grounded in neuroaffirming, evidence-informed approaches that recognise and respect each child’s unique way of experiencing the world.
We prioritise connection, safety and regulation rather than compliance. When children feel safe, understood, and supported, they are better able to engage, learn and develop new skills.
Our goal is to support children to participate more confidently in their daily lives at home, school and in the community, while also empowering families with practical strategies and understanding.
A well-integrated sensory system allows children to participate meaningfully in everyday activities. Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI) therapy supports how a child processes and responds to sensory input, helping to improve self-regulation, motor skills, attention and independence.
Through engaging, sensory-rich activities, ASI can support children to:
ASI therapy can be particularly beneficial for children experiencing sensory processing differences, autism, ADHD, dyspraxia (DCD), motor coordination challenges or emotional regulation difficulties.
Our sessions are child-led and relationship-based, drawing from DIR (Developmental, Individual Differences, Relationship-based) principles.
By following the child’s interests and using play as the foundation of therapy, we support the development of regulation, communication, engagement and problem-solving skills in a way that feels meaningful and motivating.
We use a neuroaffirming approach, recognising that neurological differences such as autism and ADHD are natural variations in development.
Rather than trying to change who a child is, we focus on understanding their needs, building on strengths, and creating environments where they can thrive.
Therapeutic Listening® is a sound-based intervention that supports the regulation of the nervous system through specially modulated music delivered via therapeutic headphones.
It can help support attention, sensory processing, emotional regulation and body awareness, and can be delivered as a stand-alone programme or alongside therapy sessions.
We believe families play a central role in a child’s development. Alongside therapy, we provide guidance, strategies and support to help parents feel confident in supporting their child at home and in everyday routines.
Our aim is not only to support the child in sessions, but to create lasting, meaningful change across environments.
